TADEE, Android game, visual puzzle, content pipeline, Google Play

TADEE: Cats & Clues combines spot-the-difference scenes, hidden cats and short visual mysteries with Thai settings. Version 1.2.7 contains 39 cases and is distributed through Google Play in 177 countries and regions. Adding a case is therefore more than producing another image. Rules, hints and progress need a consistent content structure.

A case is the primary content unit

Each case needs a stable ID, puzzle type, scene, targets, hints and completion conditions. Display titles can change without invalidating saved progress. Asset IDs also make it possible to verify which image and interaction map belong to a case.

Different puzzle types need a shared contract

A difference puzzle may store coordinate pairs, a hidden-cat scene may use object bounds, and a visual mystery may have ordered questions. If every mode builds separate scoring and hint systems, behaviour drifts. Each mode can instead report standard events such as target found, hint used and case completed while a shared layer handles progress.

A detailed image must still work on a real screen

A target visible on a large monitor may become too small on a phone. Touch areas should be slightly larger than a small visual object without overlapping nearby targets. Testing needs several aspect ratios and must ensure that image scaling does not crop essential clues.

Hints should help without playing the case

An immediate pointer removes the puzzle too quickly. Progressive hints can identify a broad region, narrow the search area and highlight a position only when needed. Storing hint levels with the case allows difficulty to change without rewriting the game engine.

Pre-production case checks

Wide distribution does not guarantee an equal experience

Availability across many regions increases potential reach, but language, symbols and device performance still vary. Distribution count is not evidence that every audience has the same experience. Crash reports, feedback and cases where players become stuck should guide work after release.
